Downtown Canmore is walkable and family-friendly, with ice cream shops, local bakeries, and the Canmore Museum. The Engine Bridge is a must-see Canmore landmark and a great photo stop. Wildlife sightings are common around town -- elk, deer, and the occasional bear are part of daily life in the Bow Valley. For a memorable day trip, drive to Lake Louise or Moraine Lake to see some of the most photographed scenery in the world. The short walk to Moraine Lake's viewpoint is manageable for most children and absolutely unforgettable.
